“Commanding a multifaceted division requires someone who can facilitate the process of finding solutions to complex problems from several perspectives. Although the work requires considerable high-level skills and is more mentally demanding and challenging, it optimizes my learning experiences and is likely to serve as a career advantage as I pursue my goal of attaining a masters degree in criminal justice administration, and eventually becoming the chief of police."
